It was a random girl (7/10) I met at a house party in Warwick so I won’t keep in contact but she did find me on Facebook this morning to thank me for last night!  Unfortunately she finished pretty quickly (probably faked) and that was it, game over.

TwinkleToes update:  she’s keen but I’m yet to see any sign of a personality. She’s hot so I’ll keep with her. Going on a second date on Tuesday and I’ve managed to persuade her to paint me a picture (her new year’s resolution prompted by me was to start up painting again).

Nasha is a liability.

Had a sneaky suspicion that Nasha and TwinkleToes might know each other because they both went to the same secondary school.  I hit Facey B to confirm this and yep they’re friends on Facebook.

TwinkleToes is a year younger than Nasha and I don’t think they hang out but I’m going to have to be much more careful about this whole situation. Inviting them both to the same gig is definitely no longer on the cards.

TwinkleToes (the preferred candidate for said date) text back at 2pm this afternoon with the devastating but expected news that: “i’m v sorry i can no longer do tonight”. I text Nasha (back up date) straight away but I’d left it too late and she’s ignored my text and phone call, in much the same way I did hers when I thought I had a chance with TwinkleToes.

In a very desperate attempt to save the day I text a girl I picked up at a library exactly a year ago and asked her if she wanted to come since my mate just bailed on me and I had a spare ticket. I haven’t spoken to her in about a year and unsurprisingly she hasn’t text back. Worth a try though and I didn’t have any dignity left to lose.

The awkward turtle has won this time but I’ve got to admit I fully deserve what happened. I mean who invites two girls to the same date? I was asking for trouble, next time I’ll invite more.

At work on Thursday I bought two tickets to a gig for this Monday (19th) and gambled that I’d be able to trick a girl into coming with me.

The gamble paid off but in the most awkward way. Got very drunk last night and asked both Nasha and TwinkleToes if they were up for it. Both said yes. This is obviously amazing but the awkward turtle is all over this mess.

TwinkleToes was at the club last night and we went off for a drink together. By the time I bumped into her I was already absolutely hammer smashed. I remember talking about my ex, asking her how long it takes to drive from here to where she goes to uni (45 mins) and then comparing it to how far I had to travel to see my ex girlfriend (1hr and a half), and saying that I have a car so the journey would be fine. This is the second time I’ve met her.

Amazingly she seemed pretty up for going to the gig. Think I’d rather go with TwinkleToes so I’m ignoring Nasha’s texts until TT confirms that she’s up for it. Nasha is my back up and the awkward turtle can go fuck himself… or keep trying it on with this shoe: http://youtu.be/2UXqqDYSgT0

Why do the papers focus on bad news when the world is such an amazing place?  I’m convinced reading the paper everyday is turning me into another one of those London Zombies who power through the Underground without a care for anyone but themselves.

Weekdays are home to long and boring train journeys where the only antidote is a depressing but mildly entertaining newspaper.

THE WEEKENDS ARE MINE.  The internet is my savior. Facebook and Twitter provide me with news that makes me smile, from people I’ve carefully selected. Stories which remind me that people are amazing.

One day I will have a smartphone and claim back the weekdays.

My work will be done when I have a different girl for every night of the week.

This will be accomplished when I get with a different girl every consecutive night of one week Monday – Sunday.  Although it seems pretty impossible at the moment, it’s such an amazing thing to aim for that I’ve gota go for it.

Here are my obstacles:

• I know about two girls at the moment.
• I get up at 6am and get home at 7.30pm so time is scarce.
• Girls are sooooo flaky; Nasha was meant to be coming over tonight but hasn’t.

She added me on Facebook on the spot!  Lost this girl on the pub crawl and ended up at a house party with Nasha in Hackney.  An amazing night ended badly with the third time in a row that I’ve been in bed with a girl and haven’t manage to convert.  Spoon.

New features:

1. Customized large header images that brands can use to display their logo and tagline more prominently than under the standard format, where branded elements of the page design are often partially covered by the timeline of tweets. Additionally, they separate out a brand’s @ replies and mentions, particularly important for a customer service oriented company which frequently responds to users’ tweets but wanted a way to keep its messaging from getting diluted.

It’s Friday evening.  Here’s what I’ve been up to:

• Last Friday – house party. Get invited back to the neighbour’s house (fit girl next door) and end up in her bed. Turns out she’s mental and stops kissing me every couple of minutes to text or change channel. Figure she’s having second thoughts but then she takes off her bra and pushes my hand against her amazing boob (right). Texting and being weird continues so I grab my clothes and run. What the hell is wrong with this girl?

• Wednesday – went round Nasha’s flat. Awkward kissing, nothing more. It’s going badly. I’m meant to be nursing a friends with benefits arrangement and all I’ve achieved is cuddling and kissing in front of Frozen Planet.

• Thursday – office party. Slowly falling in love with a couple of girls at work. Will update when I eventually get the courage/make up some ridiculous excuse to talk to them.

• Today – hungover work. Ate the worst meal at The Green Man just off Great Titchfield Street, pretty sure they bought the chips from Maccy D’s and warmed them up in the microwave. Here’s the website so you never have to make the same mistake: www.thegreenmanw1.co.uk.

I need to read The Game http://bit.ly/19fyN5 and sort out this girl trouble. Having a bloody nightmare converting and it’s been a while.

Key findings:

• She is so fit.
• She’s recently broken up with her boyfriend of approx 2 years (judging by the times of photos with him)
• Her ex-bf was a 6 at best so I reckon I might have a chance.

Next Steps:

• Find out if she’s on a rebound and wants to marry me or if she isn’t looking for a boy at the moment because she’s still upset about the break up.

Ironically, three weeks ago I broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years.  Well, she broke up with me.  I’d never have the balls to break up with her but the relationship had been deteriorating for a while.  From the little that I’ve heard (I’ve unsubscribed to her on Facebook) I’m sure she’s seeing someone else now and I’m pretty keen to find an upgrade myself.

TwinkleToes is an upgrade.
